Shooting Games (2)
About shooting games
Shooting games in this collection are about precision rather than speed: a game where you have one bullet per level, and a bow-and-arrow duel game. Both reward taking a moment to aim.
A good rule is to treat every shot as a decision. Our aim and timing guide explains a few habits for improving accuracy in browser shooters, including how to use restarts to learn a level.

Precision, not spray and pray
The shooting games on this site are precision games. One gives you a single bullet per level and plays like a puzzle. The other is a bow duel in which a missed arrow leaves you exposed. Both punish rushed shots and reward patience, observation and adjusting for distance. They are a good introduction to aiming if you find fast shooters overwhelming.
Practice before you play
Warm up with the aim trainer, which scores accuracy as well as speed, and read our aim and timing guide. Keep a relaxed grip on the mouse or phone; tension causes jitter more than any other factor.
Frequently asked questions
Are these shooting games violent?
Both are stylised, but they involve weapons, so parents should preview them. They are slower, precision-based games and not fast, graphic shooters.
How do I get better at aiming?
Aim before you shoot, adjust for distance and relax your grip. The aim trainer on this site scores accuracy as well as speed, which is the right balance to practise.
Why does one game give only a single bullet?
It turns the shooter into a puzzle: you must study the scene and find the one shot that works, which rewards patience rather than reflexes.
