About SetLife Games
SetLife Games is an independent website about casual browser games and the small skills they use: reaction, aim, timing, memory and planning.
Why we built it
Most game sites are a wall of thumbnails. You click, wait, and find out whether the game suits you only after you have played it. We wanted a site where you can understand a game before you start, learn how to get better at it, and test your own skills with simple tools. That is why the site has three parts: a library of games, a set of original tools, and a collection of written guides.
What is original on this site
- Five tools we built ourselves: a reaction time test, a click speed test, an aim trainer, a memory match game and a typing speed test.
- Twenty-two written guides on choosing games, improving at specific genres, fixing lag and playing safely.
- Notes on each game and category explaining the design of the game, who it suits and how to approach it.
Where the games come from
The games in our library are made by independent studios and distributed through GameMonetize. They load from the provider’s servers inside a game window on our pages. We are not the developer or publisher of these games, and game names, artwork and trademarks belong to their owners. If you are a rights holder and want something removed, please contact us.
How the site is funded
The site is free to use. We display advertising through Google AdSense, and games may show their own advertising supplied by their publishers. Advertising never decides which games we list or what we write about them. See our editorial policy.
Our standards
We aim to be accurate and honest about what we do and do not know. We do not claim to have benchmarked third-party games, we describe what the publisher states and how the genre generally plays, and we correct mistakes when readers report them. We update the site regularly: games that stop working are removed, and guides are revised when we find better advice.
